Privacy Policy

In short

• You don't need an account. The numbers you type are calculated in your browser and are never sent to us or stored anywhere.
• We count visits in total with our own analytics, without cookies. Our hosting and network providers see your IP address briefly to deliver the site.

Who we are

Tax Saver is run by bkkdev.io, an individual operator based in Thailand, who is the data controller responsible for your data. Contact: admin@bkkdev.io

What we hold

• What you type: nothing. Income, family and deduction amounts stay in your browser's memory while the page is open and are gone when you close or reload it. They are not uploaded, saved or logged.
• Visit counts: our own analytics (Plausible, run on our own server) records, as totals, the pages viewed, the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), your browser, operating system and device type, your approximate country or city (worked out from your IP address, which is then discarded), and one event when you press Calculate, which carries only the page language. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To tell visits apart, it uses a code made from your IP address and browser details. The code changes daily and can't be traced back to you.
• Request data: every web request carries your IP address and basic details such as the page and your browser. Our hosting and network providers use them to deliver the pages and protect the site.

How we use it

Only to run the Service: delivering the pages and understanding, in total, how many people use it. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving a free service (PDPA section 24(5)). This has little effect on your privacy because we keep only anonymous totals. We don't use your data for advertising or marketing, and we don't sell it.

Who can see it

Service providers. Vercel hosts the website. Cloudflare provides network and security services in front of our servers, including our analytics server. Both may process request data, including your IP address, in the United States and other countries. Both state in their privacy policies that they protect international transfers with standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

We use no cookies, and nothing is stored on your device.

How long we keep it

• What you type: not kept at all.
• Analytics: only totals are kept. The daily code used to tell visits apart is replaced every day, IP addresses are never stored, and our analytics server does not log them.
• Vercel: the request logs we can see are kept for at most 1 day. Vercel keeps its own records under its privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: we receive no request logs from Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps its own records under its privacy policy.

Keeping it safe

Connections are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure. If an incident puts your data at risk, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) where the law requires and post a notice on this page.

Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal data about you, ask for a copy of it, and withdraw any consent. We hold only anonymous totals, so we may not be able to link data to you. Email admin@bkkdev.io and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the PDPC.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you on this page.

If the Thai and English versions differ, the Thai version prevails.
